Email Notifications

An Email Notification is a feature that directs Lucity to send a standard message to designated recipients via email providing them with information out of the Lucity system.

Note: Email Notifications created in a test system contain the following message: THIS EMAIL COMES FROM A NON-PRODUCTION SYSTEM. PLEASE IGNORE THIS EMAIL.

Email Notifications are sent in two ways:

Email Notifications can be created for any module that supports Notifications.

Administrators create Email Notifications using the Notification Setup module. During this process, they designate default recipients; however, Lucity will also send Email Notifications to recipients specified in the module launching the Notification.

Note: The system administrator must configure the SMTP Server and From Email Address (through Admin Portal > Settings > System Settings > Email) before Lucity can send Email Notifications.
