Click the button next to the desired Plant Process record.
In the expanded record, select the Slots grid.
Click the Slot that contains the piece of Equipment being inspected.
Click the button and select Create Equipment Inspection Record. The system launches the Equipment Inspection module and creates a new Inspection record with the Equipment ID field automatically populated with asset's ID.
Enter the Date Inspected (required).
Use the available Condition fields to assess the state of the equipment.
Complete other fields as desired.
Save and close the record. The new record appears in the Equipment Inspection module, and a record of the action is added to the Equipment History grid.
Create Equipment Reading Record | Selected Record
Adds a record to the Equipment Reading module for the Equipment installed in the selected Slot.
Click the button next to the desired Plant Process record.
In the expanded record, select the Slots grid.
Click the Slot that contains the piece of Equipment for which the reading is being taken.
Click the button and select Create Equipment Reading Record. The system launches the Equipment Reading module and creates a new Reading record with the Equipment ID field automatically populated with that asset's ID.
Enter the Date of the reading (required).
Complete other fields as desired.
Save and close the record. The new record now appears in the Equipment Reading module.
Install Equipment | Selected Record
Installs a specific piece of Equipment (of the specified Type) in the selected Slot.
Click the button next to the desired Plant Process record.
In the expanded record, select the Slots grid.
Click the Slot in which you would like to replace a piece of Equipment.
Click the button and select Replace Equipment | Selected Record. A prompt similar to the following appears:
Enter or select the Equipment ID for a record from the Equipment module.
Only Equipment records with the same Equipment Type value as the selected Slot can be installed in this position.
Enter the Date of the installation (required).
Complete other fields as desired.
Save and close the record. The old asset is removed from the slot and the new asset appears in its place. Lucity adds a record of the action to the Slot's Equipment History grid.
Click the button next to the desired Plant Process record.
In the expanded record, select the Slots grid.
Click the Slot from which you would like to remove a piece of Equipment.
Click the button and select Uninstall Equipment | Selected Record. A prompt similar to the following appears:
Enter the Date the item was or will be removed (required). This system automatically supplies the current date; however, this value can be changed.
Complete other fields as desired.
Save and close the record. The previous asset will be removed from the Slot, and Lucity will track the action by adding a record to the Slot's Equipment History grid.
View Equipment Inventory Record | Selected Record
Opens the Equipment Inventory module to display the Equipment record currently installed in the selected Slot.
