The Selection tool allows users to select features in the map. The Select toolbar appears along with the selected features when the tool is used.
The function of the selection tool and the layers that can be selected is controlled in the Table of Contents > Selection tab.
Rectangle Selection |
Draw a box in the map to automatically select everything located within that box. |
Point Selection |
Click on a location within the map to automatically select everything at that point. |
Selection Toolbar
The Select Toolbar appears automatically after the Selection tool is activated. It provides tools that enable the user to interact with selected features.
Selection Drop-down |
Lists the layers that have assets within the current selection. Select a layer to run any of the following tools against the selected features in that layer. |

Zoom to Selection |
Zooms to the features indicated in the Selection drop-down box. |

Opens the Data table and displays the GIS data for selected records. Each layer appears in a separate tab. |

Opens the form for the related Lucity record. Only available if a single record is selected. |

Open Module View |
Opens the Data table and displays the Lucity data for selected records. Each layer appears in a separate tab. |

Lists the Lucity modules with records that relate to the record selected in the grid. |

Displays a list of records that have the same address as the current record. This only appears when a single record is selected. Note: This uses the address stored in in Lucity. |

Enables users to view Documents attached to a highlighted feature and/or attach new Documents. |

Enables users to add, edit, and delete Subsets, which are specific groups of records. |

Creates an Inspection for the selected asset. |
|||
Creates a Request for a highlighted asset. |
|||
Creates a Work Order for all highlighted assets. |
|||
Produces a new PM/Template for the selected records or the chosen filterset. |
|||
Attaches highlighted assets to an existing Work Order. |
|||
Attaches the selected assets to an existing PM as a PM Asset. |
