Equipment History

Each equipment Slot can have one piece of Equipment installed in it; however, that item can be replaced as necessary. Lucity automatically keeps a running history of every piece of equipment installed in or uninstalled from the slot in the Equipment History grid. In addition, the History grid tracks Inspections of the equipment in the slot.

Through the History grid, users can also create Meter Reading records for the equipment in the slot and track reading history.

The Equipment History grid provides a historical list of actions associated with the selected Slot record. These records identify which pieces of equipment were installed in or removed from the slot and when they were installed/uninstalled.

Open the Plant Processes module.
Click to expand the desired Process record.
Select the Slots grid.
Click to expand the desired Slot record.
Select the History grid.
Click the button. A new History record appears. The system automatically completes the Slot Number and Equipment ID fields.
Enter the Date of the reading (required).
Enter the Meter Reading. (The Action field is defaulted to 3 - Meter Reading.)
Note: All other actions must be done via a toolkit in the Slots grid.
Click the button to save the record.
Note: This does not create a record in the Meter Reading module.

Select a record in the Equipment History grid.
Click the button and select View Equipment Inventory Record.
The Equipment Inventory module opens and displays the related Equipment record.

Note: All other actions for this grid are performed using the Toolkit on the Slots grid.
