The Assets tab provides a list of inventory assets that the project involves. This provides access to those assets' inventory records and allows users to create new work orders involving the selected assets. Other special functions in this grid vary depending on the type of assets listed. The tab contains a grid which has this header bar. The records in the grid can be sorted by clicking on a column header (below a sort arrow is highlighted in orange).
Right-click in the grid to add a record
Right-click on an existing record to get a menu with options to View Record, Add Record, Edit Record, or Delete Record.
Double-click on an existing record to open it
Right-click to access options to use subsets for viewing asset records. Discussed below.
Arranging assets
Assets can be rearranged by using the reorder buttons in the lower right corner of the screen. These buttons are enabled when the Sequence column is selected as the sort column (the selected sort column will contain an arrow).
