Equipment Component Library

The Equipment Component Library enables users to set up a group of components that are typically used together. That group then can be loaded into a sewer record.

For example you have several mowers that are all the same make and model. You could create a component library of all the components for those mowers. This allows you to fill out the list of components for the type of mower and then load that list onto each record for a mower of that type.

The library consists of a Comp Lib Name field to identify the library and a Components grid that contains the library components.

To access the Equipment Component Library, select Sewer > Equipment Component Library.

Components Grid

The Components grid stores a list of components that are commonly used together for a single piece of equipment. Users can enter items manually or load items from another library in this module.

A sample of the grid appears below.

• Right-click in the grid to add a record.
• Right-click on an existing record for options to View Record, Add Record, Edit Record, Delete Record, or Load Component Library.
• Double-click on an existing record to open it.

How to Create a Component Library

1. Click to add a new record.
2. Enter a name in the Comp Lib Name field (required).
3. Save the record.
4. Right-click in the Component grid and select Add Record. The following window appears:

   

5. Complete the Component field (required).
6. Fill out the other fields as desired.
7. Save and close the record. The item automatically is added to the Component Library.

How To Load a Component Library

1. Right-click in the Component Library grid and select Load Component Library. A selection list appears with a list of other libraries from this module:

   

2. Click on the desired library and click Select. The library is then loaded into the grid.
