Condition Tab

The Condition tab summarizes the condition of the supersegment based on the results of the most recent Field Inspections or Maintenance records of each subsegment linked to the supersegment. This tab contains Blended Values, Controlling Values, and other data from the linked subsegments.  Most of the data in this tab is calculated by the system if there is. This page will go over each part of the Condition tab.

Field

Function

Override PCI

This allows users to manually enter a PCI Value to use for this supersegment

Override PCI Date

This is the date of the Override PCI. This is used by the system to determine the most recent PCI data entered for use during a model run. If this date is more recent that the most recent Field Inspection or Maitenance record then this Override PCI will be used.

Condition

This allows users to enter the general condition of the supersegment.

Use Control Value

Check this box to use the Controlling Values instead of the Blended values during a model run. This allows users to set a portion of the supersegment as the controlling PCI for the entire supersegment.

Min Controlling %

This field allows users to specify what percentage of the supersegment the controlling part of the supersegment must be. If the Use Control Value box is checked enter a number in this box. This number is the percentage of the total supersegment area that will be used to control the PCI.

Note: For additional information, consult the Maintenance and Modeling help guides.

In addition, this tab tracks data on curbs, sidewalks, and driveways, as well as the ADT value and priority. These calculated fields are described below:

Field Name

Function

Highest Seg ADT

The system will import the highest ADT (Average Daily Traffic) for the segments linked to the Subsegment records.

Total Patching

This field sums the Patching Est (SY) field from the Field Inspections module, Distresses tab for all linked Subsegments.

Calculated Priority

This priority equals the Weighted Rating from the Field Inspection, PCI tab. If more than one subsegment is attached to this supersegment, the priority field will reflect the average weighted rating for all attached subsegments.

Calculated Priority = (100 - Blended PCI) * Priority Weighting Factor

Curb Length

Sidewalk Length

Driveway Units

The system will import the calculated total length of the curbs and sidewalks and total number of driveway units listed in the corresponding Subsegment records.

Curb Replace Est

SW Replace Est

DW Replace Est

The system will import the calculated total replacement estimates for these assets from the related Field Inspection records.

Note: To update the fields on this tab run the Update Supersegment Current Ratings tool in the Toolkit.
