Click the Add button from the Filter screen to view the Add a Filter dialog. This dialog has two tabs, Build-A-Filter and Advanced, as well as several other buttons/functions.

Displays the number of records found by the filter currently being built. |
Save |
Stores the filter for future use. |
Run |
Executes the filter. |
Build-A-Filter tab
The Build-a-Filter tab enables lets users create a filter one step at a time. The process begins by selecting the module or child module on which to base the filter. Then, the user chooses the field to apply the filter to and the condition the filter should use to base its results (ie =, >, <, etc...). Finally, the user enters the factor her or she wants the filter to identify. Multiple fields can be filtered at once.

Advanced tab
The Advanced tab lets users write their own SQL filters or edit existing filters to perform more advanced functions. For example, one advanced function the tab allows is the use of reserve words.
