Street Merge Process within the Desktop Application

The following is an overview of the merge process within the desktop:

• If the segment ID for the merged street is new (i.e. the existing segment ID of either pre-merged street is not being reused), perform a street renumber on the existing street.
• Update attributes for the merged street:
  • Left/right to/from address range
  • To/from node
  • Length
  • User length
  • Lane length
• Merge subsegments
• Update subsegment numbers
• Associate documents
• Update street curve (STCURVE)
• Update Construction records
• Update Work Requests
• Update Work Orders
  • Asset/Task associations are carried over to the merged pipe
  • Recalculates AS_WOCOST and AS_UNASGNCOST
• Update PM/Work Template records
• Update Master Project records
• Update street name fields
• Update routes
• Update structures
• Update associations
  • STCURBINV, STWALLINV, STTVSEG, STTVINTJR, STSWINV, STSTEPSINV, STSININV, STSHEAD, STRRXINV, STRAMPINV, STPOLINV, STPMINV, STPARK, STMETERBOX, STMEDINV, STMAINLINE, STLITINV, STJBOXINV, STGRINV, STFENINV, STCABINET, STBSINV, STACDATA
• Delete intersection or update status (depending on option set)
