Modifying Ratings

Ratings can be modified in the Inspection Setup module.  This is useful if an agency is concerned about a particular defect and wants all pipes that display that defect to have higher structural ratings.

How to Modify Ratings

1. Go to Sewer > Inspection > Inspection Setup.
2. Select the defect to edit in the Inspection Setup module.
3. Right-click on that the defect and select Edit Record.
4. Change the ratings.
5. Save and Close the record.

   Important: If a user edits a rating, the change will only affect data from that point on (i.e., past data will not be affected) unless he or she runs the Recalc All option (under System Tools).  Recalc All will reevaluate inspection results based on the new criteria.
