The Set-up tab fields store basic information about the TV inspection. The fields in this tab are described in the table below:

Date and time the segment was televised. |
TV Direction ** |
Direction in which the segment was televised (i.e., upstream to downstream or downstream to upstream). |
Inspection Crew |
Name, number, or initials of the crew performing the inspection. |
Weather |
Weather conditions at the time of the inspection. (User-defined pick list) |
Surface Condition |
Type of surface on the ground above the pipe being observed. (User-defined pick list) |
Dyed Water |
Indicates whether a dyed-water test was performed during the inspection. |
Percent Full |
Percentage of the pipe cross-section area that is occupied by the flow. |
Purpose |
Purpose of the TV inspection (i.e., TV existing line, TV rehabilitated line, TV new line). (User-defined pick list) |
Flow Type |
Type of flow observed during the inspection (i.e., added flow, normal flow, no flow). |
Tape ID Number |
Identification number assigned to the tape used to televise the line segment. |
Counter Start and Stop |
Numbers displayed on the tape counter at the beginning and end of the inspection. |
Clean Prior Checkbox |
Indicates whether the pipe has been jet- or bucket-cleaned prior to the inspection. |
Degrease Prior Checkbox |
Indicates whether the pipe has been degreased prior to the inspection. |
Point Repair Prior Checkbox |
Indicates whether the pipe has been repaired prior to the inspection. |
Struc Replace Prior Checkbox |
Indicates whether the manhole was replaced prior to the inspection. |
Root Cut Prior Checkbox |
Indicates whether roots have been cut from the wall of the pipe prior to the inspection. |
Root Chem Prior Checkbox |
Indicates whether a chemical treatment was used to control root growth prior to the inspection. |
Other Main Prior |
Describes any other maintenance performed on the pipe prior to the inspection. (Text field) |
