Module Relationships
Electric distribution systems are generally made up of primary and secondary circuits. Primary circuits transmit current at primary voltages from generating plants to industrial sites, substations, and transformers. Secondary circuits transmit current from substations and transformers to distribute it to customer locations at utilization voltages.
Electric distributions systems can be comprised of both underground and overhead systems.
Underground systems are contained within conduits, with access provided via vaults or manholes.
