The General tab allows you to associate a floor (from the Floors module) with the room. Press F9 in the Floor Rec No field to select from the pick list. The Floor ID information and the Building ID information (from the Floor record) are then auto-populated with the corresponding data from the Building record. Additionally, the General tab allows you to document basic physical characteristics of the room, including type of ceiling, lighting, size, and flooring. You can also list any contact information for the room occupant(s).
Note: The Floor Record ID is required in order to save the record.
