Allow Conduit Inspection to Create Inventory Records

The Allow Conduit Inspection to Create New Inventory Record (for conduits and structures) and Allow Structure Inspection to Create New Structure Inventory Records options allow you to create inspection records for conduits or storm structures that do not have inventory records in the Conduit Inventory or Structure Inventory modules.  If these options are set to "Yes", the inventory records will automatically be created based on information entered in the inspection records.  

Note: This option does not take user permissions into account (i.e. a user may not have permission to add inventory records, but this option will allow them to).

To enable these options, complete the following steps:

1. Click to enter Edit Mode.
2. Right-click on the option you wish to enable and select "Edit". A window similar to the following will appear:

   

3. Change the value to "Yes" or "No" using the drop-down menu.
