Customizing Toolbars

Lucity Desktop allows users to customize the look of each toolbar. This allows them to remove modules that they don't use, or arrange them to match their work flow.

Note: You may not have access to this feature. See the system administrator for details.

How To Customize the toolbar

1. Add the desired toolbars to Lucity
2. Right-click on a toolbar and select Customize Toolbar. The Customize Toolbar tool will appear:

   

3. The left box is the Available toolbar buttons box and displays objects that can added to the toolbar.
4. The right box is the Current toolbar buttons box and displays objects that are currently part of the toolbar

   Adding Buttons

   1. Select the button from the Available toolbar list.
   2. Click .
   3. Repeat steps 1 & 2 for additional buttons.

   Adding Spaces between buttons

   1. Select the button from the Current toolbar list that the space will follow.
   2. Click in the Available buttons list.
   3. Click .
   4. Repeat steps 1-3 to add additional spaces between buttons.

   Removing Buttons

   1. Select the button from the Current toolbar  list.
   2. Click .
   3. Repeat steps 1 & 2 to remove additional buttons.

   Rearranging the order of Buttons

   1. Select the button in the Current toolbar list to moved.
   2. Click or until the button is in the desired position.
   3. Repeat steps 1 & 2 for additional buttons.

   Resetting the toolbar back to Default Settings

   There are two ways to reset.

   • In the Toolbar Customization tool click the Reset button
   • In Lucity Desktop right click on the toolbar and select Restore Factory Setting.
5. All changes made in this tool are automatic
6. Click Close when complete.
