The Street program features various inventory modules to help you manage the streets and intersections of your municipality. Used in conjunction with the Pavement module, Accidents program, and Traffic Volume program, Street is acomprehensive maintenance management and analysis program. Below, we've identified the basic relationships between the street modules. Follow the links at the bottom of your screen for detailed information.
Module Relationships
Street segments and intersections make up the basic intersection to intersection network. Each street segment record has an intersection record associated with each end of the street. Even culs-de-sac and end-of-pavement end points have an intersection in the database to define that end point.
Each intersection is displayed with an intersection configuration diagram showing which streets come out of an intersection and in which direction they go.
You can create multiple records listing street routes. These allow for easy grouping and filtering on routes.
You can create records for any type of structure and associate them to street segment records.
