Ccf Units Tab

The Ccf Units tab converts the values from the Inches tab into cubic feet. To perform these calculations, the system uses values from the Inches tab, as well as the the Coverage (SqFt) field on the General tab of the related Park Meter record.

The tab displays three columns--or types--of water measurements. Each column contains values for each of the twelve months of the year. An annual total appears at the bottom of each column.

Column

Function

Target Consumption

Indicates the amount of irrigation water (in 100s of cubic feet) that the agency expects to use each month. The system automatically calculates these values by:

  • Finding the Target Consumption (Target inches) for that month, which is entered on the Inches tab.
  • Finding the related meter's Coverage from the Coverage (SqFt) field on the meter's General tab.
  • Calculating ((Target inches)/(12x100))xCoverage

Actual Consumption

Specifies the number of cubic feet of water that were used for irrigation. Users must enter usage in 100 cubic feet increments.

Target/Actual Difference

Indicates the difference between the Target Consumption value and the Actual Consumption value. Automatically calculated as: Actual Consumption - Target Consumption.

  • A positive number means that more water was consumed that month than planned. A negative number means less water was consumed that month than planned.
