Inspections Tab

The Parks - Art Inspections tab stores information about the most recent inspection of the piece of art. It also displays a historical list of inspections associated with the artwork.

Field	Special Function
Last Inspection	Displays the Inspection Date from the most recent Inspection record.
Next Inspection	Indicates when the next inspection will occur, as determined by the user.
Overall Cond	Describes the state of the artwork as indicated in the most recent Inspection record. (Data is taken from the Overall Condition field on the Condition tab.)

A sample of the Inspections grid appears below. Sort records in the grid by clicking on the headings. An up or down arrow (highlighted in orange below) indicates whether data appear in ascending or descending order.

Double-click on an existing record to open it.
Right-click in the grid to add a record.
Right-click on an existing record for options to View Record, Add Record, Edit Record, or Delete Record.

How To Add an Inspection Record

Right-click in the Inspection grid and select Add Record. The Art Inspection module opens and displays a new record.
Enter the Inspection Date (required). The Art Rec # field is also required; however, the system completes this field automatically when a record is added using this method.
Complete any other desired fields.
Save and close. The new record now appears in the Inspection grid and the Last Inspection and Overall Cond fields are updated on the Art Inventory record.
