Valves to Close and then Open

Valves to Close and then Open records provide information about each valve that is exercised as part of the flushing route. Here, users may record the results of the hydrant flush.

Valves to Open or Close

Sequence

Indicates the order in which the related hydrant is flushed within the route.

Valve Set to

Marks whether the valve was set to open or closed.

Exercised Date

States the date the valve was exercised, which is the same date as the related hydrant's Date Flushed field.

Exercised

Marks that the valve is exercised.

Valve Number

Specifies the user-defined ID for the valve. Click the field caption or press F9 for list of system valves.

Sys Valve Rec #

Indicates the system-defined ID for the selected valve. Automatically completed when the user selects a Valve Number.

Address

Specifies the address at which the valve is located, as indicated on the Valve Inventory record.

Access

Describes how the valve is accessed. Automatically copied from the Valve Inventory record.

Direction to Open

Explains the direction in which to open the valve. Automatically copied from the Valve Inventory record.

Turns to Open

Indicates the number of turns required to open the valve, as indicated on the Valve Inventory record.

Operating Status

Denotes the valve's current operating status. Automatically copied from the Valve Inventory record.
