Valves to Close

Valves to Open or Close records provide information about each valve that is related to the selected hydrant on the flush route.

Sequence

Notes the order within the route that the hydrant is to be flushed. This information comes from the Hydrant record associated with the valve.

Set Valve to

Marks whether the valve should be opened or closed at this stage of the flush.

Valve Number

Indicates the user-defined ID for the valve. Click the field caption button or press F9 for list of System Valves records.

Sys Valve Rec #

Specifies the system-defined ID for the valve. The system automatically completes this field when the user selects a Valve Number.

Address

States the address at which the valve is located. The system automatically completes this field with data from the Valve record's Address fields.

Access

Describes the how to access the valve. The system automatically completes this field with data from the Access field on the Valve record's Attributes tab.

Direction to Open

Describes which way the valve should be turned to be opened. The system automatically completes this field with data from the Direction to Open field on the Valve record's Attributes tab.

Turns to Open

Indicates how many times the valve should be turned to open it. The system automatically completes this field with data from the Turns to Open field on the Valve record's Attributes tab.

Operating Status

Denotes the current condition of the valve. The system automatically completes this field with data from the Valve record's Operating Status field.
