The Threshold Limits tab lists a range of acceptable values for each parameter that is checked during the inspection. The grid on this tab is automatically populated with data from the Threshold Values grid on the Equipment record's Inspection tab; however, Threshold records can also be added manually or loaded from a pre-configured list created in the Threshold Library.
Each Threshold record:
Note: Before using this tab, agencies must review the rest of the fields in the Equipment Inspection module and select which fields their users will store values in. These fields should be labeled. Each field can store a parameter for a different part of the inspection and thresholds are then assigned to these fields.
When a value for an Inspection field that is linked to a Threshold record falls outside the threshold range, the system automatically marks the Outside Threshold field and sends out the related Notification.
A sample of the Threshold Limits grid appears below. Sort records in the grid by clicking on the headings. An up or down arrow (highlighted in orange below) indicates whether data appear in ascending or descending order.
