Asset Items Inspections Header Data

The header fields on the BMP Asset Items Inspections module contain general information to identify and describe each inspection. The header appears at the top of the module window and remains visible as users navigate through the module's tabs.

Field

Function

BMP Asset Items Rec # **

The system-defined ID for the Asset Item inspected.

  • Click on the field name or press F9 within the field for a list of Asset Items from the BMP Asset Item Inventory module.
  • This field can be filled out automatically by entering the Asset Item Number.

Asset Item Number **

The user-defined ID for the Asset Item inspected.

  • Click on the field name or press F9 within the field for a list of Asset Items from the BMP Asset Item Inventory module.
  • This field can be filled out automatically by entering the BMP Asset Items Rec #.

Most Recent Inspection

Indicates that this record represents the most recent inspection for the selected asset. (This field is automatically completed by the system.)

Inspection Date **

The date the inspection occurred. This field is used to update the Date Inspected field on the Asset Item record.

Employee

The person who inspected the ASSET ITEM, as selected from a user-defined list of employees.

Purpose

The reason for the inspection.

Plant Condition

The condition of the item if it is a plant. This field is used to update the Plant Condition field on the Asset Item record.

Structural Condition

The condition of the item if it is man-made. This field is used to update the Structural Condition field on the Asset Item record.

Next Inspection Date

The next date that the asset should be inspected.

* Required field.

* Must form a unique combination along with the Time field.
