Connections Tab

The Connections tab contains displays all storm conduit connections to the structure being inspected.

A sample of the Connections grid appears below. Sort records in the grid by clicking on the headings.  An up or down arrow (highlighted in orange below) indicates whether data appear in ascending or descending order.

How To Add a Connection

  1. Right-click in the grid and select Add Record. The following window appears:

  2. Complete the desired fields (none are required).
  3. Save and close the record.

Connection Fields

Field

Function

Pipe Number

Denotes the order the pipe was noted during the inspection. Meaning, this pipe was #1, #2, #3, etc.

Asset ID

Specifies The Alt Conduit ID of the pipe.

Clock Position

Indicates direction from which the conduit enters the structure, as compared to positions on the face of a clock (e.g., 1 o'clock, 4 o'clock).

Rim to Invert

Indicates the distance from the rim to the invert of the conduit's upstream manhole.

Direction

Indicates whether the conduit flows into or out of the structure.

Material

Describes the substance of which the conduit is made.

Shape

Denotes the shape of the conduit.

Diameter 1

Indicates the width of the mouth of the conduit.

Diameter 2

Provides a second field to indicate the width of the mouth of the conduit is if it isn't a circle.

Pipe Condition

Describes the general condition of the conduit.

Seal Condition

Describes the general condition of the conduit/structure seal.

Special Condition

Provides a user-defined field for tracking the general condition of another aspect of the conduit/structure connection.
