The Testing Parameter Setup module enables users to identify factors that need to be tested at an IPT facility. Testing parameters can be attached to Monitoring Points and Test Results records.

To access the Testing Parameter Setup module, select Sewer > Environmental Compliance > Industrial Pretreatment > Testing Parameter setup. The following window will appear:
The Testing Parameter Setup consists of a field to identify the parameter and several other fields to store other testing information.
Parameter ** |
Identifies the test factor using a code and description. This code and description are visible when selecting parameters in the Monitoring Points and Test Results modules. |
Domestic Allowance |
The amount of the chemical/material that is allowed in a sample at any give time. |
Charge per Pound |
The dollar amount charged for every pound of the chemical/material that exceeds the Domestic Allowance during a year. |
Testing Charge |
The dollar amount charged to perform a laboratory test for the parameter. This amount is used to calculate the Laboratory Test Fees field on Monitoring Point Billing records. |

* The code portion must be unique.
Required Parameters
Agencies must add a parameter with a code of VOL and it must have a valid value in the Testing Charge field. This parameter value will be used to calculate the volume charge on a Billing record's Base Charge calculation.
