Inspection Tab

The Inspections tab tracks inspections related to the building asset. At the top of the tab are several fields that relate with the grid below them.

Inspection fields

Last Inspection Date	Populated from the inspection date of the most recent inspection record.
General Condition	Populated with the value from the General Cond field from the most recent inspection record.
Next Inspection Date	Populated from the Next Insp Date field on the most recent inspection record.

Inspections grid

A sample of the grid appears below. Sort records in each grid by clicking on the headings. An up or down arrow (highlighted in orange below) will appear signifying ascending or descending order. The functions in the grid allow user to view, add, edit, or delete the record.

Right-click in the grid to add a record
Right-click on an existing record to get a menu with options to View Record, Add Record, Edit Record, or Delete Record.
Double-click on an existing record to open it

How To Add an Inspection Record

Right-click in the grid and select Add Record. The following window will appear:
Fill out the Inspect Date field. This is required. The Building Asset Rec # is also required, but is automatically filled out when creating and inspection this way.
Fill out any other desired fields
Save and close the record. The inspection will show up in the Inspections grid on the asset record.
