Notices/Violations/Corrective Actions tab

The Notices/Violations/Corrective Actions tab records all violations cited during an IPT inspection of a facility, as well as the corrective actions required for each violation.

This tab is similar to the Violations/Enforcements tab in the IPT Facilities module; however, the violations in this grid are associated with an Inspection record. Note, though, that the records that appear in this tab also appear in the Notices/Violations/Corrective Actions tab in the Facility record. This functionality enables inspectors to link the results of the inspection to any corrective action that needs to take place.

Notices and Violations records associated with an inspection can be entered using the Notices/Warning/Violations grid. Corrective Actions are linked to the Violation records and can be entered in the same way.

The IPT Inspections - Notices/Warnings/Violations grid keeps track of all notices, warnings, and violations given to the facility. Violations entered here will show up in this grid and in the corresponding grid in the FOG Facilities module.

A sample of the IPT Inspections - Notices and Violations grid appears below. Sort records in the grid by clicking on the headings. An up or down arrow (highlighted in orange below) indicates whether data appear in ascending or descending order.

Right click in the Notices and Violations grid and select Add Record.
The following record will appear.
The upper portion of the violation record stores general information about the type and date of the violation. The bottom portion stores information about any fines the facility is required to pay.
Enter an Occurred Date and click the Notice/Violation button to select a violation. These fields are required and must form a unique combination.
Note: For FOG Facilities the Notice/Violation list is populated through the Sewer > Environmental Compliance > Fats Oils Grease > Facilities > Setup > Notices/Violations. For IPT Facilities the Notice Violation list is populated through the Sewer > Environmental Compliance > Industrial Pretreatment > Violation Setup
Fill out any other desired fields and save the record.

After selecting a record in the Notices and Violations grid, the Corrective Actions grid displays all related corrective actions. Corrective Action records entered here appear in this grid and in the corresponding grid in the IPT Facilities module.

Note: All Corrective Action records must be linked to a Notice/Violation record.

Select a record in the Notices and Violations grid.
Right click in the Corrective Actions grid and select Add Record.

Click the Corrective Action button to select which action need to occur. Enter a Notification Date. These fields are required and must form a unique combination.
Note: The Corrective Action list for FOG Facilities is populated through the Sewer > Environmental Compliance > Fats Oils Grease > Facilities > Setup > Corrective Actions. The Corrective Action list for IPT Facilities is populated through the Sewer > Environmental Compliance > Industrial Pretreatment > Corrective Action Setup.
Save the record.
