The Damage by Others tab enables agencies to record the damages done to their utilities by another department. The system stores information about when the damage was done, who was responsible, and contact information for that entity.
Several fields used to break down the cost of repairing the damage appear on the right side of the tab. Users can complete these cost fields manually or the system can complete them automatically using data from the Cost tab on the associated Work Order. (A work order is associated with the Damage record using the Work Order # field in the header data.)
Hit Labor Costs |
A sum of all the labor costs detailed in the work order's Labor Costs field. |
Hit Material Costs |
A sum of all the material costs detailed in the work order's Material Cost field. |
Hit Equipment Costs |
A sum of all the equipment costs detailed in the work order's Equipment Cost field.. |
Hit Other Costs |
A sum of all the fluid, contractor, and misc. costs detailed in the work order's Fluid Cost, Contractor Costs, and Misc. Costs fields. |
Hit Total Costs |
A total of all costs. |
