Meters Tab

This tab contains two grids: Potable Water and Recycled Water. Both grids allow you to associate one or more existing meters with your Water Site. To add meters to either grid, follow the steps below:

1. Right-click in a grid and select Add Record. A window similar to the following will appear:

   

2. Click on the Meter Location No button to access the pick list.
   • In the Potable Water grid, this pick list comes from the Water Distribution, Meter Location module.
   • In the Recycled Water grid, this pick list comes from the Recycled Water, Meter Location module.
3. Highlight a meter in the list and click Select.

   

   Note: Each meter location can only be connected to a single Water Site record. If the meter location you select is already connected to a Water Site, you'll receive the following message:

   

4. Save and Close the record. The meter you selected will be added to the appropriate grid.

   Note: In order for the meter locations to appear in the grids, you must have installed meter devices in the Water Distribution Meter Location module (for the Potable Water grid) and Recycled Water Meter Location module (for the Recycled Water grid). If the record you added does not appear in the grids, it may be because that location does not have a device installed. 5. You can then use the functions in the grids to View, Edit, or Delete meters.
