Permits/Construction Tab

The Permits/Construction tab contains two grids. The Permit grid displays all service permits for the lateral. The Construction Records grid displays all construction records for the lateral. You can sort items in the grids by clicking on the headings.  An up or down arrow will appear signifying ascending or descending order.  Click the heading again to change the direction.

Additionally, you'll see several fields in the center of this tab. The Service Lateral's present value and remaining life are defined by the deterioration rates set up in the Construction record. These values are updated automatically by the system. The Replacement Value and Replacement Date fields are entered by the user.

Permit

There are three ways to access the Service Permits:

1. Double click on any record.  This will open the record directly.
2. Right-click on any record to open a drop down menu.  The menu allows you to view, add, edit, or delete the record.
3. Access the records from the main menu bar by selecting Sewer > Inventory > Service Permits.

Once you access the record the Service Permits module will open.

Construction Records

To access the Construction records select Sewer > Construction Records from the main menu. For additional information on the Construction Records module, please reference the help guide.
