Security Tab

The Security tab allows agencies to control which users can control the warehouse inventories or pull assets from a warehouse for a work order. Within the tab is a grid that provides a list of employees from the Work Flow Setup > Employees module and their permissions for the current warehouse.

Note: This feature will only work if the Use Parts Warehouse Security options is enabled under Work Options > Parts Integration tab.

Note: If a user doesn't have one of these permissions they will not be able to use the warehouse for anything.

A sample of the grid appears below. Sort records in each grid by clicking on the headings. An up or down arrow (highlighted in orange below) will appear signifying ascending or descending order.

Right-click in the grid and select Add Record. The following pop-up will appear:
Select and Employee. Click on the field name or press F9 within the field for a list of employees.
- This is required.
- These employees come from the Work Flow Setup > Employee module.
Select a Security level. Click on the field name or press F9 within the field for a list.
Save and Close the record.

Right-click in the grid and select Replicate Warehouse Employee's Links. The following pop-up will appear:
Click on a warehouse in the list and click Select.
The employees and permissions from the other warehouse will be copied over to the Security grid for the current warehouse.

Right-click in the grid and select Add Multiple Employees. The following pop-up will appear:
Select one or more employee's and click Select.
All the selected employees will be added to the grid.

Select one or more employees in the grid.
Right-click and select Set Employee Security. The following pop-up will appear:
Choose a security level from the drop down and click Select.
The security settings will be updated for all selected employees.

Full Access	This permissions gives a user full control over a warehouse. They can update a warehouse in the warehouse module and disperse parts to work orders.
WO Only	This permission allows a user to only access the warehouse through the Work Order modules. They can disperse parts to a work order and return them to the warehouse, but they cannot access the warehouse within the warehouse module.

	Replicate Warehouse Employee's Links	Copies security permissions from another warehouse.
	Add Multiple Employees	Allows users to select and add multiple records to the grid at once.
	Set Employee Security	Sets the security field for all currently selected records.
