During configuration of the module some fields are linked to threshold limit records. Threshold limit records provide both a expected range of values and a warning notification. The warning notification is sent when the value in the field equals or falls outside the values set on the threshold record.

After creating the notification template, go to Plant/Equip > Equipment > Equipment Inspection or Plant/Equip > Threshold Library and find the threshold record that needs to have a notification attached.
Edit the threshold record and fill out the Notification Label field. Click the field caption or press F9 for a pop-up list of notification templates.
Select the correct template
Save and Close the threshold record.
If the Threshold record is on an inspection and the associated field is filled out with a value that falls outside the range of the Low and High fields the notification will be automatically sent.
Example: For the picture above, if the inspection's User 9 field has a value of 2 or 8 the notification will be automatically triggered.
Note: A record of the notification is stored on the Email tab.
