Vendor Parts Records

Vendor Parts records display information about a part that a vendor provides and matches it to a part in the Parts Inventory.

Special Function fields

Vendor Part ID	The vendors ID for the part.
UPC Code	The UPC for the part. This is used for part lookup.
Part ID	The agency's ID for the part. This links the part to a record in the Part Inventory.
Vendor UOM	The unit of measure that the vendor measures the units in. Example: In the screenshot above the vendor measures this part in crates.
Ratio	The ratio between the vendor units and the agency's units. Example: In the screenshot above there is a ratio of 6. For every 1 crate of oil purchased there are 6 quarts going into the inventory.
Vendor Unit Cost	The amount of money the vendor charges per unit.
Unit of Measure	The unit of measurement that the agency uses for the part. Example: In the screenshot above the agency measures this part in quarts.
