Edit Redlining

The Redlining tool allows users to add markups to the map. This feature can be used to provide information to someone at another location or to save information for later.

To run this tool, tap the

button, then select Edit Redlining from the list. The Edit Redlining toolbar will appear on the edge of the screen with the following options:

Tap the Menu button and select the Markup tool.
In the toolbar that pops up at right, select an option:
Draw the markup in the map.
Point - Tap on a location in the map to add a point.

Line - Touch a location on the map and drag to another location. The line follows the path of your finger. Lift your finger to stop drawing.

Polygon - Touch a location on the map and drag to another location. The perimeter of the polygon follows the path of your finger. Lift your finger to stop drawing. The tool links the starting point of the line to the ending point of the line to enclose the area of the polygon.
After the markup is complete, the following pop-up appears to enable users to add a name, description, or notes to the markup:
Enter the desired information and tap Save.

Tap the Menu button and select the Markup tool.
In the toolbar that pops up at right, select the option.
Tap on a markup in the map. The tool will search near the location of the tap for existing markups.
When it has found all existing markups around the location of the tap the following pop-up will appear:
The Name of the markup appears in the box. If more than one markup is found near the tap, tap on the Name to see a drop-down list of other nearby markups.
Select a markup from the list.
Tap the button for more information about the selected markup.
The following pop-up window appears.
- To edit the data, tap in one of the fields and type new information. After making the desired changes, tap Save.
- To delete a markup, tap the Delete button. A confirmation window appears. Tap Yes to delete.
- Tap Cancel to leave the pop-up without making any changes.

	Add Point	Add a markup of a single point.
	Add Line	Add a markup of a line.
	Add Polygon	Add a markup of a polygon.
	Select Redlining	This allows users to choose red lining markups in the map. They can then view and edit the markup information or delete the markup.
