Create Request from Map

When using the Create Request tool, a panel with the following additional tools will appear:

1. Create Request - Click this tool to create a work request for the first asset listed in the currently displayed tab of the Select Assets dialog. The first X/Y coordinate listed on the User Points dialog will also be added.
   • If you would like a request to be created for other assets or X/Y coordinates than those listed first, you will need to remove the other items from the lists.
   • If there is no default work category for the selected assets or more than one category is available, users will be required to select an appropriate category from the list.
   • The new request will open in edit mode in the web form. The default Request form will be used, or if applicable, the form from which you launched the web map.
2. Select Assets - Click this tool and then click to select assets in the map. Or, hold Ctrl while clicking to draw an area for selection. A dialog box will appear displaying all selected assets.

   

   • Click to highlight the selected asset in the map.
   • Click to remove the asset from selection.
   • Click to reorder the selected assets in the list.
3. Select Points - Click this tool and then click to select X/Y points in the map. A dialog box will appear displaying all selected points.

   

   • Click to highlight the selected point in the map.
   • Click to remove the point from selection.
   • Click to reorder the selected points in the list.
