Users can create multiple notifications for each module or using each format; however, certain notification types (such as the Customer Thank You) can be sent only via email. Users can also automatically insert module data into the subject line or body of email notifications.
Notification Considerations
Before creating a notification template in the System Configuration > Notifications, here are a few things to consider
What module is this notification for? This will determine what type of notification to use. Water, Sewer, Fleet, Overdue, and Customer notifications only support email notifications.
If this is a work notification, what type of notification is needed? Four notification types are supplied with the program: Email(or Text), Report to Printer, Report to Default printer, and Messenger. Only these four types are designed to automatically send notifications based on a template.
Equipment
