Accounts Receivable Process

The Finance Enterprise (FE) Accounts Receivable integration process involves first linking FE customers from the Person/Entity (PEUPPE) screen to a Lucity Work Order. Then Lucity sends Work Order billing information to the FE Create/Update Accounts Receivable (ARBTARUB) screen for billing external customers.

Billing Customer sync

The following process enables you to tie Finance Enterprise (FE) Accounts Receivable customers from the Person/Entity (PEUPPE) screen to a Lucity Work Order.

  1. Create or open a Lucity Work Order. If creating new, enter all required fields. More information about Lucity Work Orders.
  2. Select a CS Billing Customer ID. This field is a live lookup to the FE Person/Entity (PEUPPE) screen.

    Note: The CS Billing Customer ID field on a Work Order becomes read-only when the Imported to Finance field is marked TRUE.

Work Order to Accounts Receivable integration

The following process enables you to send Lucity Work Order billing information to the FE Create/Update Accounts Receivable (ARBTARUB) screen for billing external customers.

  1. Create and save a Lucity Work Order containing the minimum required information. More information about Accounts Receivable setup > Lucity records setup.
  2. The Billing Required field prompts Lucity to fire a task to push the Lucity Work Order billing information to the FE Create/Update Accounts Receivable (ARBTARUB) screen. More information about this task is available in Lucity's Admin Portal:
  3. When the Lucity task is finished, the Purchase Request can be viewed in FE's Create/Update Accounts Receivable (ARBTARUB) screen. The Lucity Work Order's Imported to Finance field is set to TRUE and the CS Billing Customer ID becomes read-only.

    Note: Lucity Work Orders that are sent to FE cannot be deleted. These Work Orders can be modified, though any changes you wish to also be made on the corresponding FE AR record must be made manually.
