Work Order Assets can be linked to Asset Inspection records. This enables user to create inspections for the assets on a work order, but also review the inspections that resulted from the work order. The following functionality only works for inspections created from the Work Order > Asset grid.
Creating Inspections from a Work Order
To create an inspection linked to the work order asset you must use the Create Inspection Record for an Asset Toolkit. This tool creates an inspection for the desired asset and links that inspection record directly to the Work Order Asset. Record.
Once the inspection is created you can quickly jump to the inspection using the View Inspection Record for an Asset toolkit.
Completing Inspections linked to a Work Order
Oncce the inspection is created you should fill out the inspection record with the results of the inspection and populate the Inspection Date field. The Inspection Date is carried over from the inspeciton record to the Work Order Asset's Completion Date field.
Note: This occurs for most inspection modules. Some inspections modules do not support.
