Editing

The Editing tools allow users add new features to the map, edit existing features, and deleting features.

Note: Merges, splits, renumbering and deletions must still be done in ArcGIS Pro using the special Lucity Tools.

Click Edit to open the Edit dialog.
Select Add Feature. The dialog will display the list of editable layers in the map.
Click on a location within the map.
- For a point, click a location in the map.
- For a line, click a location in the map to begin the line and click another location to finish the section and start a new one. Double-click to end the line.
- For a polygon, click a location in the map to begin a side. Then, click another location to end a side and start a new one. Double-click to automatically end the polygon.
After ending the drawing, the Attributes window appears:
Enter the attributes. If this is an Asset that should sync to Lucity, the Common ID (Facility Number) must be provided.
When complete, click Add. The feature will be added to the map.
