Transaction Template

Transaction Templates enable you to use templates to quickly perform common transactions with minimal data input. Agencies can set up a template for certain activities that occur routinely, such as receiving, and populate fields in the template that will remain the same each time the transaction occurs.

Note: Transaction Templates are used exclusively in the Lucity Mobile Warehouse application. However, they are created in the Lucity Web app.

Every week a shop knows it needs 10 boxes of work gloves at a particular location. The following is an example of a Transaction Template created for this need:

Before creating a Transaction Template you will want to determine a common workflow (such as receiving parts on a regular basis) for which this Template could be useful.

Open the Warehouse Inventory > Transaction Template module.
Click Add . The Transaction Template form opens.
Enter a Template Name (required).
Select a Transaction Type from the picklist (required).
Select a Part ID from the picklist.
Select a Location ID from the picklist.
Enter a Quantity.
Enter a Description.
Select an Employee from the picklist.
Select a To Location from the picklist.
Select a Vendor ID from the picklist.
Enter other fields as desired.
Click Save . The new Transaction Template appears in the grid.
