Save

Save the changes to the current form.

Save and Close

Save the changes to the current form and close the design mode.

Delete Component

Removes the selected component from the form.

Enable Horizontal Grid

Displays grid lines that display left to right across the Form Layout Editor.

• The drop-down arrow next to the tool enables users to control the distance between the lines and set a buffer around the line.

Enable Vertical Grid

Displays grid lines that display top to bottom across the Form Layout Editor.

• The drop-down arrow next to the tool enables users to control the distance between the lines and set a buffer around each line.

Align Left

Moves all selected components to be aligned with the left side of the component that was selected last.

Align Top

Moves all selected components to be aligned with the top of the component that was selected last.

Align to Grid

Moves all selected components into a grid system.

Auto-Arrange Horizontal / Vertical

Controls how the Align to Grid tool works.

• If the icon is toggled selected components will be organized into a line to the right of the upper left selected component. If the components reach the right edge of the form they will start a new line of components below the first line.
• If the icon is toggled they will all appear in a column below the upper left selected comp

Undo

Cancels the previous edit made to the addition or location of a form component.

Redo

Re-submits the last edit canceld using the Undo button.

Edit Tab Order

Enables tab order editing. This enables users to change which order the cursor moves through the fields when a user taps the Tab key.

• The drop-down arrow next to the tool enables users to automatically reset the tab order. The system set the tab order from left to right, from top to bottom using the left and top edges of the fields to determine order.

Menu

Displays the following tools:

• Hotkeys - Provides a pop-up list of the hotkeys availabe for the tools in the list.
• Information - Provides information about the current form and module.
• Exit Design Mode - Closes design mode. Any unsaved changes will be lost.
