Categories

Using the Problem Setup module, agencies can associate a Problem with one or more Work Categories. These relationships are used:

For example, an agency could use Categories to differentiate the Problem of a "Leaky Pipe" in a sewer system (Category: Sewer Repairs) from a "Leaky Pipe" in a sprinkler system (Category: Irrigation Repairs).

Categories Grid

The Problem Setup > Categories grid lists all Work Categories associated with the selected Problem.

Category

Specifies a class or division of work associated with this problem.

Priority

Indicates the default level of importance of applied to the Request, Work Order or PM records' Priority fields when the Category/Problem combination is selected.
