Vendor

The Vendor Library module stores contact data for companies from which an agency purchases its fleet vehicles or equipment. The Library is shared among the Equipment and Fleet inventory modules, enabling users to quickly update vendor contact and location information.

In the Vendor module, click the button.
In the Vendor Library field, enter the company's name (required). This name must be unique.
Enter logistical information about the company, such as the Vendor Street 1, Vendor Phone #, and Vendor Email.
Select a Parts Vendor ID from the drop-down to link the Equipment/Fleet Vendor to a Parts Inventory Vendor (optional).
Complete other fields as desired.
Click the button to save the record. The new record appears in the grid.
