Group Setup

The FOG Facility Group Event Setup module enables administrators to create groups to subdivide the long list of events that can be associated with a FOG facility. Establishing Groups makes it easier for users to find the Event they wish to record.

For example, an agency could establish a Group for permitting events, and within that group, create events titled "Permit Requested," "Permit Payment Overdue," "Permit Expired," "Permit Revoked," etc.

To access the Group Setup module, select Environmental Compliance > Fats, Oils and Greases > FOG Facilities > Setup > Group Setup.

Step 1: Create the Group

Open the Environmental Compliance > Fats, Oils, Grease > Facilities > Setup > Group Setup module.
Click the button in the module toolbar. The FOG Group Setup form appears.
Provide a unique name for the collection in the Group field (required).
Save and close the record. The new Group appears in the FOG Group Setup grid and in the Facility Events module's Facility Events form.

Step 2: Add Events to the New Group

Use the button to expand the new Group record. The Events grid appears.
Click the button in the grid toolbar. The FOG Group Event form appears.
Use the pick-list to select an existing Event (required).

Or
Add a new option:
1. At the bottom of the pick-list, click Edit List, then Add New.
2. Enter a Code and Type for the new Event.
3. Click Add. The new item now appears among the pick-list options.
4. Choose the new Event.
Click Select.
Save and close the record. The Event appears in the selected Group's Events grid.
