Crystal Reports for Enterprise (CRE) is a separate, large-scale web application from SAP that manages and runs Crystal Reports. Using CRE streamlines the report creation process and removes certain limitations associated with running Crystal Reports, such as those related to page limits or the number of reports that can be run at once.
Lucity can be integrated with CRE so that some or all of your Lucity reports can be run using CRE. This section explains how to set up the integration between the two systems.
Note: Reports run as Email Report are not run using CRE; instead, they are run by Lucity Report Server.
Note: The report's .rpt file must exist in both Lucity and in CRE.
