The Share with Others function enables users to share the current View with other Lucity users with a link, allowing them to see the same dataset in a module view.
Example: A supervisor has filtered a Work Order view to subset of records that are overdue. The supervisor uses the Share with Others function to send a link to this View to a work manager via email. The manager sees the same set of Work Orders, although they aren't necessarily organized in the same way.
In a module View, filter the dataset to the desired subset.
Click the Menu button and select Share with Others. The following dialog appears:
Name the data set, if desired.
Click Copy.
Note: A message might appear asking if the program can access the clipboard. If such a message appears, select Yes.
Paste this link into a Notepad note, Microsoft Word document, email message or other form of communication with another Lucity user. A user can enter this link into a web browser to access this shared View.
