Administration permissions control various administrative tasks.

Admin Tool

Allows user to log into the Lucity Administration Tool and access:

  • System Settings - Any settings that have to do with how the system operates behind the scenes. This includes URLs and file paths.
  • Clear All Site Caches
  • Manage Website Caches
  • Manage Public Website Caches
  • Manage Mobile Server Caches
  • User License Manager
  • Background Tasks
  • Active User Manager
  • View Email Request Log
  • Client Maintenance

Security

  • Allows user to login to the Lucity Security program. However, he or she can only modify users that have the Lucity IT Admin > Run permission.

Security Admin

Run *

Allows user to log into the Lucity Security program and modify users, groups, and permissions. However, he or she cannot assign the Lucity IT Admin > Run permission, or modify any users that have that permission.

* When a user is granted, revoked, or denied these permissions, Lucity logs the action in the rolling.log file and in the Windows Event Viewer. A notification is also sent to the email addresses specified in the Lucity Web > Admin Portal > Settings > System Settings > Email > List of email addresses for system health notifications setting.

Reports - Administrative

These are reports that show up in Lucity Web > Admin Portal > Reports > Admin. Users must also have either Lucity App Admin or Lucity IT Admin to access the Admin Portal.

Allows users to add custom admin reports.
