The number of users who can can use the Lucity Mobile application is limited through Activations. When any users logs into Lucity on a tablet they activate that tablet. The number of activations that are available to your organization is controlled by the type of licensing that you use.
Named Product Licensing
Clients with with named product licensing own a specific number of seats of the Lucity Mobile product.
Each activated tablet or device uses a license; therefore, the number of devices that can use Lucity is limited by the number of licenses an agency possesses. However, any number of users may use a tablet or device.
Devices are activated automatically when a user logs into the device. The device remains activated until it is deactivated in Lucity's Activations Manager.
Named User Licensing
Clients with named user licensing purchase rights to Lucity for a specific number of users.
While this method does not limit the number of devices that can run Lucity, only licensed users may log into the application, and user logins cannot be shared.
Site Licenses
Clients with a site license for Lucity Mobile have access to an unlimited number of users for Lucity Mobile.
Activations are not used if the agency has purchased a site license for Lucity Mobile.
Activation Manager
Administrators can use the Lucity Web > Admin Portal > Users and Licenses > Activations Manager tosee all that are currently activated with the Lucity Mobile application.
