At the top of the Import and Update tool is a toolbar that allows users to add import configurations and to locate and use existing configurations.

Add New Add Template Add From XML |
The Add New button adds a new blank import configuration. The drop down arrow gives the option to:

Edit Configuration |
Modifies the current import configuration.

Save Configuration Save as Template |
The Save button saves any changes made to the current import configuration. The drop down arrow gives the option to Save As Template. This saves the current configuration as a template which you can then load later to create new configurations. |

Cancel Edits |
Revokes any edits made and exits edit mode for the current import configuration. |
||
Import Records Import Group |
The Import button runs the current import configuration. The drop down arrow gives the option to Group Import. This runs multiple imports tied to the current import configuration. |

Delete Configuration |
Deletes the current import configuration.

Scheduler |
Schedules the import and update to be run by the Lucity Services on a scheduled basis. |
||
Change Login |
Enables the user to log in as a different user. This feature is disabled if the tool was launched from inside Lucity Desktop. |

Local Settings |
These are settings that affect how the copy of the import and update on this machine runs.
