In every Lucity module there is a Show In Map Flag field that records whether or not an inventory asset is stored in the map too. This field controls whether the show in map button is enabled for a specific feature or not. While it isn't common, in some circumstances this field won't get updated when a feature is added to the GIS and synced to Lucity. To make sure this field is correct there is the "Update Show In Map Flag" tool. This tool will go through a set of selected modules and look for matching features in the linked feature classes. It then updates the Show In Map field.
How To Update the Show In Map Flag
Add all the layers to the map that you want to update the show in map flag for.
Click the and select Update GIS Values. The following pop-up will appear:
Select the module(s) to update. Then click OK.
The show in map flag field will be updated in Lucity for all records that have a matching record in GIS. The following pop-up will appear to display records that didn't have a match.
The grid on the left displays a list of records in GIS that are not in Lucity.
Users can select records in this grid and click the Force Sync button to push the record into Lucity.
Before force syncing the Enable Number Generator box can be checked to activate a number generator attached to the feature class configuration and populate the records' common id field.
Before force syncing the Enable Spatial Relates box can be checked to activate any spatial relates attached to the feature class configuration and populate the records' relationship fields.
The grid on the right displays a list of records in Lucity that are not in GIS.
Records in this grid must be manually added to GIS and assigned the matching common id.
