Lucity Process Log

The Lucity Process Log is a tool that helps troubleshoot problems users may encounter while using the Lucity GIS tools. It is rare for a user to see the log because it appears automatically only when an error occurs; however, it can be turned on at any time. This log file is very helpful to Lucity Support representatives.

How To Use the Log

1. Click the button. The log appears, snapped to the bottom of the screen.
2. For more complete logging, check the Log Everything box. This option can be disabled at any time.

   Note: Having the log on, particularly when the Log Everything option is enabled, slows Lucity processing time.

3. Right-click in the Log window to access options to Clear or Save.

How To Read the Log

• Black lettering - Indicates standard logging
• Gray lettering - Represents the extra logging added by the Log Everything option.
• Red lettering - Indicates process errors.
